ADSA can help you stay connected to your community and participate in social and recreational activities of your interest. Participating in social and community activities is essential to maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

We strongly believe that community participation helps realise the potential for physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development. We recognise that each person, along with their talents, abilities, and goals, is unique. We will match you to a support worker suited for you, your values, lifestyle, and with whom you are comfortable.

SOME OF THE OPTIONS FOR SUPPORT WITH SOCIAL AND COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION CAN INCLUDE:
* Getting to the local sports events or the gym
* Meeting friends during the day or evening
* Support to attend community activities or groups
* Participating in leisure & recreation activities
* Going on a holiday
* Join a new group or pursue a new interest
* Support in using public transport Build or maintain your current friendships or relationships
* Learning a new skill
* Eating out


These supports enable each participant to engage in community, social or recreational activities. These may be provided in a centre or community settings at standard or higher intensity rates.

CASUAL OR LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS

Our Drop-In Support, Casual, and Last-Minute Bookings are best suited for people who:

* Have a physical disability
* Live in our catchment area
* Have the ability to instruct our staff
